Kindness of Strangers

My DH and I spent our last free time without DS11 before he comes home from vacation today. We watched a show that we had taped, "The Next Food Network Star" and saw that the winning chef for the round had won getting her dish put on the menu at Red Lobster. DH and I decided to go there for lunch and have the dish. It was awesome by the way. It struck me that our waitress Jeanie was so attentive and nice. She went out of her way to ensure we didn't want for anything. AND, I just wanted to sit there and cry and thank her for being nice to me. It struck me how raw I really am and this after a heavenly week of respite.

((((greymaster)))) Re-entry sucks, it really does. Hope it goes smoothly. We can always hope. The kindness of others goes a long way when we are so worn down.

But I hope you were so understanding that you tipped her at LEAST 30%
Just kidding, but a REALLY good WAITER/Waitress does that EVERY day to EVERY customer.
It's just like a Project manager, having pep talks with the project's weak link!!!!
good to get productivity (and for waiter (TIPS!)
