Hey all, this would be me finally feeling better.

Not all the way better, but better none the less, and after the last darkness, I will take it.

Have spent hours reading, pondering, and trying to figure out what got me so stuck.

Finally realized that I had ended up being more reactive, than proactive.

Not a good place for me to be in.

Took all of the 'love' and 'fear' stuff I have been learning and applied it to myself.

Decided the last couple of days to look for the blessings.

Today, I decided to be a blessing.

Had to go to work and stopped to get coffee.

Paid for the person behind me.  Turned out they had ordered three coffees.  This act got me a chance to bless the lady at the coffee shop, she was so excited to be a part of this.  And the three people that were having coffee.

So, one simple act, four people blessed, plus me, so actually five.

And if each of those people told just one other person, that's 8 people blessed.

And it made me smile all day long thinking about it.

And ended up being my lesson for the day.

It's up to me to be the change in my world that I want to see.

Thanks all for being part of my life.

The little song is running in the back of my head for you...

This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine. This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine. Hide it under a bushel - NO!, I'm gonna let it shine. Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine

Blessings,

Your screen name has always said it all for me!

What you did was one of the most beautiful things!  Sometimes I think that's all God really wants from us - to take care of each other.  I pray that God blesses you with lots of kindness.

as Paul Harvey would say, now for the rest of the story...

So I go in early today to work for a couple of hours.  I am teaching.

Teach my first class, it goes well.

Teach my second class, all goes well, one student arrives very late.  No worries, the learning center is hard to find.

Get her to the application we are on and tell her I will go over the stuff at the end.  She is delighted.

Class gets out early, I go to help her and she asks, 'do you drink coffee?'  I say yes, and she tells me 'great, starbucks gave me two iced coffees and I can't drink both, would you like it?'  She had two coffees, I just figured she had gotten two to get through her day.

I laughed, told her about yesterday, and graciously accepted the coffee.

Made my day.

Knew you all would get a kick out of it.

Blessings, you are so amazing!  I love what happened with the student giving YOU coffee the very next day.  Somehow seems like Someone above was acknowledging what you had done the day before!  angel10 coffee2 love7
