One of the moms has an adult daughter with epilepsy. The daughter died in her bed the other night, apparently due to a seizure. No warning. The family is, of course, devastated. (parents are Mary and Jim) Although we aren't super-close, the loss of a child still hits home. For all the problems our kids have, as long as they're still living, they still have a chance. A similar thing happened to one of the families at our church. Their thirteen-year-old child with CP died in his sleep. The mom found him when she went to wake him up to take him to church.
