This isn't a book on trauma exactly, but a non-fiction book written by a therapist, Torey Hayden, who worked with traumatized children.  Her specialty was selective mutism.  She's written quite a few books and I read most of them years before we adopted.  I re-read this Twilight Children last week and one of her patients it's pretty clear to see has some RAD issues.  They don't say that in the book but she nonsense talks, manipulates, rages, lies, etc.  It was great to read how she helped this girl and read about the girls healing.
