On top of everything else that has gone on since December with DS, hubby and I are facing some health challenges.  He was diagnosed with diabetes, and I slipped on the ice going into work and hurt my wrist.

We are still figuring out the diabetes thing, and I am having surgery on my wrist in a few hours.

Prayers would mean so much.

I'm praying for you and God to guide the doctors hands as they repair your wrist. You are on the road to recovery! God's Speed

I know that diabetes is scary when it is first diagnosed, but with the proper diet, and oh, yes, exercise (wish I could get more) it can be controlled.  If not then your doctor will prescribe medication.  My daughter was diagnosed at age 7, and she is doing well with no complications so far, and that was 23 years ago.  I was diagnosed five years ago, and could be totally off meds if I went walking just 30-45 minutes per day!!

I will be praying for you and your husband, both for healing, and for a calm spirit, because that will help both of you together and in your separate challenges.

Great to hear the surgery went well.  We'll keep the prayers going for a speedy and complete recovery.

Wink I even learned a new term, never knew what to call that tough layer which you mentioned as having synovitis.  Anyone interested can type it into google.
