Praying

Praying for all of you tonight.

And I just wanted all of you to know that.

We do not often speak of it, but there is a spiritual component to our battles, and I know that only when I put on the full armor of God, am I correctly equipped.

A prayer tonight for all of you.  Where ever you are, whatever you are facing.

That you are safe, that you are loved, and that you have hope.

Those are the gifts that I promised my children many years ago.  I have kept that promise every day for 15 very long years.  I hope that those same gifts are yours.

And as I am on a board where hopefully you will understand, I want you all to know that I love you.

You all have been brought into my life by God to minister me through a deep valley in my life.  I have walked through the shadows, and always, you have been a light on the hill ahead of me.

It is a privilege to know all of you.

Thanks Blessings.  Really needing it lately.  This is a special group to me.  I don't know what I would do without you all to give me hope (for me) and keep me going.  God is my underlying strength, but he uses your arms/words for comfort.

In our Sunday Service, out pastor always prays, "for the one who needs it the most, and the one who thinks they need it the least". I am both of these on any given day. Thank you for your prayer.

Home ill today.  Have been ill since DD was removed from my home in July.  It's like my body got me through the storm, and that now I am on the other side, my body is collapsing.  actually, more like it collapsed, and now it is slowly, slowly healing.

Anyway, doing a quiet time on my own, and praying for many.  And as always, praying for all that might come here today looking for support.  This place has been a bright spot for many years through a very horrific time of my life.

I am so blessed by this place, and all of you.

It is amazing to me how interconnected our body, emotions and spirits are.  Hoping you are able to get back your health soon.  Sometimes we just need a huge rest after a prolonged siege.

Hoping you feel better soon.  Take your time to heal, literally.   Go for walks if you feel like it.  Leave the dishes and laundry (they will wait for us, sadly enough).  Get take-out if necessary.  Just put your mind on good things and sleep.

I am making time for me, and sleeping, eating healthy, and connecting with people.

I think I underestimate the damage that was done to me living in a war zone for 5 years.  I want to be better now, and my body is letting me know that it's going to take time.

So thankful for an understanding hubby and sweet pea.

Praying that you are feeling better!!
I kind of know how you feel, Ds was gone this weekend for an Fellowship of Christian Athletes Weekend of Champions. DH and I had a lot of work to do, but Sunday afternoon I gave into a nice nap that I so needed! It really does take a toll on our bodies, minds and spirits.
