Monday dh lost his job.   Embarrassed  While he does have a retirement income, we had just financially extended ourselves to do some much needed (and some wanted) renovation work on the house.  Lovely timing.   Undecided  Needless to say we are in crisis mode here right now.

Dh's health seems a bit shaky both from anxiety and  Huh?.   He had weight loss surgery in January and is experiencing fluctuating blood pressure due to his needs changing.  His color doesn't look good to me, so I'm concerned.  I've been experiencing a good bit of dizziness in the last couple of weeks, so got some blood work done yesterday.  Hope to find out something today.

While at the hospital I talked with an employment person about work.  They told me to get a resume in.  I haven't worked in 24+ years, other than the bit of tutoring I do now.  I had planned on pursuing a job in the fall, but am getting jump started it seems toward pursuing this.

Anyway, could sure use your prayer support.  I do believe (usually  Undecided) that God will meet our needs.  Praying for peace in the storm and wisdom.

Of course!    angel10

Hope everything is ok medically.  With the house stuff make sure you have them check for Carbon Monoxide.

Thanks all.   I got my labs back today.  I'm dehydrated, have ketones in urine and elevated liver enzymes.  I have been dropping weight rapidly the last several weeks (2-4lbs a week).  Don't really need to lose.  I had weight loss surgery 1 1/2 years ago and am down enough.  However, I have been really stressed due to contractor issues and dh's reluctance to fire him.  One plus is that right before dh lost his job we fired the old contractor and this week started the new guy - who is doing great.  We are really putting ourselves in a bind to finish this project, but the house is literally not safe with the mess we were left with.  Anyway, I'm thinking due to the stress I have lost my appetite and am dizzy perhaps from dehydration.  Not sure about the enzyme thing.  They scheduled me for a sonogram.  They also want me to see a dietician.  I am going to call my bariatric group and check with their dietician as this is her specialty.  If I get enough help there may drop the local dietician.  I wasn't having this problem until the last few weeks...  dontknow

I do need to check on carbon monoxide.  My dr. also mentioned that.  I had forgotten.  I went to look for our detector and it is gone.   Huh?  Chalk another one up to our ex contractor.  It is strange that both dh and I started having dizzy spells around the same time.  I just figured it was a coincidence.  Hope so!

With everything that is going on around you, slow down, and take time for you.  Definitely.

Keep us informed on your / DH's medical situations.

I'm very sorry, True, about the loss of your husband's job, both of your health concerns and the issues with your house.

Keep faith!  God does meet all of our needs.  Sometimes His ideas of what we need are different from our ideas of what we need.  But, whatever happens, He has a plan and He will bring good out of it.  I have seen again and again over the past 8 years that as long as I keep my trust in Him and don't try to rely on myself, that He will always pull me through.

Whenever things look scary, finanacially, my prayer is always to let God know that I know that He is my source, not any man (employer), organization, agency or government.  He is always faithful.  Not always in the way I expect or think that I want, but in 8 years of living by faith He has not let me down.

We will be praying for your health and for financial opportunities.

Thanks Shelley.  Appreciate the ongoing prayers.  Seems like one of those times when if anything can go wrong it will.  Undecided  Taking it a day at a time.
