So glad to hear things are somewhat better!  I've been concerned about you!

Thanks Neitling.  I'm doing fine.  Been busy with the new job, but surprisingly ok - maybe because of the job.  (I think I'm getting a new lease on life with buspar.  Grin I may never give it up.)

Got a call tonight from dd's residential home.  She's back there.  She says she's doing wonderfully.  She sounded pretty lucid and not overmedicated, so that was a relief.  My only concern is that she let me know she made a friend in the hospital.  This woman is going to call her every day to make sure dd stays OK.  This was another patient.  This is an old codependent pattern for dd and she tends to become obsessive.  I think we will alert the staff to watch for signs of obsessiveness from dd.  The good news is dd is not allowed to call out.  I hope they stand firm or things could get rocky.

Good deal with the Buspar and with the job.  You deserve good things and happiness in your life, as you give it so freely to others!

I won't stop thinking or caring though!

Thanks blessings and neitling!  Dh is on his way to pick up dd19 and bring her here for the day.  Looking forward to seeing her.  She was very upbeat on the phone last night.  I never know if this is a prelude to a crash or if she's ok.   dontknow  Anyway, better than the alternative.

Dd asked if she could have a phone.   Roll Eyes  I mentioned her problem with becoming obsessive last time she had a phone and the fact that she has no money to support it.  She was wanting to call this friend she made in the hospital.  However, this woman calls her, so dd doesn't need a phone to keep in touch.  Surprisingly, dd just said "Ok, I won't get a phone."  No arguing, no attitude.  What alien life form is inhabiting my dd's body?  I like it!
