Going to see a Cancer specialist for a mass in her knee.  (the vascular component makes it that no other type of surgeon will look at it, as they need a "team" to do this type of surgery...if they will do it as surgery....there are other options I have googled, but I don't know if for DN they are the best...)  We'll find out more tomorrow.

It'll be most of the day affair, as we have to drive a couple hours away, and the hospital we are going to is darn near as big as my town.  Should be interesting with all my little country bumpkins in tow.   Undecided (wish me luck on THAT part... laughing6)

I'll keep you all updated.

But at least THIS is kinda cut and dried, you know?  Not like the psychological mumbojumbo of RAD.  Gah.  Still scary though.

 Undecided

I think she's bummed.  We have to go back in two weeks for another MRI, this time a contrast one....just to be certain this is the genetic/hereditary thing they think it is.

If it is?  We get to monitor it.  As the treatments / removal is worse than living with it.  So...basically, yeah, her leg has a knot in it that is formed funny, compared to most of ours, but for her, it's normal.

Normal and have to learn to live with it.

Can you hear the complaining until she's out of my house?  OW ow ow ow ow ow ow.... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Anyway, it could have been worse.  Thanks for the prayers.

Did I mention, I hate doctors?  Lord if I had the time back from being at doctors I could build another year on my life!  Smiley

Glad this turned out to be a benign situation and yeah, I'm sure dn will be milking it for all it's worth.

Not to be mean or sound sarcastic (cuz this is not a laughing matter), but....

Is never ceases to amaze me,  when RAD's find out they have no serious illness to gain the attention, they are "bummed".

We, on the other hand, are thrilled it turns out so well.

Sorry DN is bummed out, but so happy it was not worse.

Too bad the good news will probably bring you some miserable times in the future.  Oiy!

Prayers you can tolerate it as long as needed.
