My Uncle just underwent emergency surgery on his bowels and colon today. He is in his mid 80s. Please pray for God's presence to strengthen my Uncle, for his immune system to kick in and his colon to heal properly, for healing as God wills. Please also pray for my Aunt as my Uncle is her joy and her other half, and my parents as this is Mom's only sister and BIL and my Dad is an only child so these are his sister and brother.  anne |

Thanks all. Talked to my Mom last night. My Uncle has a hole in his bowel and it has been fixed but he is still under heavy sedation. Apparently he's had the problem for awhile and was misdiagnosed with Parkinson's. My Aunt took him to more than 7 drs in the last few months and no one could see what the problem was until now. The nurses are relieved that he responds on his own and even grimaced when his Granddaughter played some 'awful' music, though he has yet to be fully conscious. Right now it's 50/50. Uncle Bill knows and loves the Lord, but it's still hard to might have to say, 'see ya later.' Please keep praying for all of us. And thank you, again. anne |

No news is good news. My Uncle hasn't spoken yet, but is responding with a gentle squeeze back with his hand. Everyone else is doing okay. Need also, prayers for Dh, please. His high school friend that we've known for years just had a massive heart attack and died. The funeral is Monday. Ds15 is going to autism camp that week and Dd17 will be 'hanging out' with friends. Please keep Dh in your prayers. He's been asked to give the eulogy and to be a pallbearer. He hasn't said much and is showing the 'stiff upper lip,' but he is breaking on the inside. Thanks.  anne |
