Awk! It's raining and pouring. My Nephew just called and told us that last night we almost lost our wee Sophia. Surgery on her heart went well and she was transferred back to Mount Sinai from Sick Kids. She was doing well, having gained weight and is now weighing 2lb 8 oz. The nurse on duty was giving Tylinol for pain and gave the wrong dosage (was supposed to be .08mg and she was given 12 mg!). Poison Control was called and they pumped her stomach and did all the procedures. Sophia is okay, lost weight and is down to 1lb 15 oz. They don't think there was liver damage, but please, please pray for this wee one. She needs prayers as she's been through so much. Please also keep the parents in your prayers as my Nephew and Niece have been through so much. Thanks.  anne |

Sorry, kitchen reno and my computer down has melted my brain. Wee Sophia continues to grow and gain weight! She's now being held multiple times a day by Dad and Mom and we are hoping she can go home in September/October. She's one special wee one. anne |

Great News: Sophia has been moved to the local hospital and is now a level 2 so we can now hold her!!! (only dad and mom could up to this point). She's more than 4 lbs now and growing strong!! anne |
