Thank you for your prayers, it went realy well, I was relaxed, we even made jokes, but I still have to wait for 2 weeks before I know if they hire me.
And when they hire me, there will be a screening about me, family and friends and that takes 9 weeks.

 blob1 blob1 hello2  blob6 wav

This time last year was time for my secret clearance to be renewed.  So when I started filling out the form on line it asked for names of mother, father, brothers, sisters, brothers and sisters inlaw, children's names.....

When I saw they wanted my children's names so they could contact them  laughing6 I wrote essays on each of them, even the sweetpeas.  For the 3 scoundrels I gave them their histories, their names, the names they were previously known by, the mental health diagnoses,  the prison they are in along with the Department of Corrections number they have been assigned..... Yes, I did!

That form is filled out and goes back to the owner of the company I work for so it can be processed for the Federal Government.  Just before that I had my yearly review and she called me when she saw my updated resume' and said she had no idea I did as much volunteering as I do.  When she looked at my clearance information she called me.   First she told me she was speechless.  Then she apologized that my life had taken such a turn considering we were opening up our lives for children that had no homes.  Then she thanked me for being so candid and truthful.  Then in 2 weeks she called me to say I had passed with flying colors.

So, all that said to say....tell them everything so there are no surprises and nothing can be held against you.   So glad things worked out for you.

That is good advice Bizzzie. I was thinking that a RADish could blow the whole deal for Geertje. There is hope.
