Please pray for my sweet grandson.

His counts are very low because of the chemo and he might have to be hospitalized.  Things are very stressful for my daughter and son in law as she is expecting baby number two any day now.

They have created most of this stress because of cutting us off, as we were the only ones willing to come out and help.

Son in laws sister has moved, and his parents do not help out.

The situation is a mess.  I pray for my grandson and soon to be here grand daughter as they are the innocents caught in the madness of their parents chaos.

Absolutely will pray for them.

I do agree that the kids are the innocents.   It shouldn't be that way but it is.

I will pray that dd and sil will accept help where it appears, putting their differences aside.  If they dont, the cycle will continue, I fear

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1  I am in a spot where it is hard to pray, but I know it is true that God is our refuge and strength. May God grant healing in your family.

I have been praying Blessings.   i didn't realize that the beloved sister moved.   Also didn't realize that the beloved grandparents do not help out....How do you live near them and NOT help out??

As you said, they have added to their stress big time by cutting off SWPNL's family....YOu!

I know this is so hard and sad for you.  I just can't imagine how much.

Thank you friends.

The sister in law moved back to Mississippi.  She had only been in the area for a year while her husband pursued his initial PhD coursework at Fort Collins.

The in laws live 5 hours away.  They are both retired.  No part time jobs.

They will come down when the baby is born, create more work for my daughter, treat her awfully, and then go home.

It is what they do.

I am hoping that my SIL will have some time after the baby is born and be able to be in town for my daughter and grandson.  His job keeps him away Monday through late Thursday, so my daughter is really on her own.  What is so sad is that one of my dear friends just moved 45 minutes away and would be a huge help.  But my daughter has unfriended her and cut off all contact with her also.

It is too much.

I have 12 weeks of FMLA and the paperwork is sitting on my desk ready to be signed.  My husband has 12 weeks of FMLA and 5 weeks of vacation accrued.  Our daughter is facing this alone because she so chooses.

Like I have said, my heart goes out for my grandson.  He deserves more people in his life to help him through this difficult time.

Thank you all for your constant support.

It means so much.

Such a senseless loss for everyone, blessings.  I hate this for you.  Your offers are very generous.   love9

Thank you True.

I am getting a package together for grandsons 3 rd birthday, and something for my grand daughter.  It's heart wrenching.  I don't even know if the gifts will reach the children.

But at least I tried.

That is all I can do.

Maybe this sounds trivial blessings, but I would take pictures of the gifts and send them in a way that you can get a signed receipt proving they were delivered.

In a few years, if they ask why you didn't ever remember them, you have some proof that you tried.
