My son called to tell me that his apt. was robbed today. He lives on the other side of the country so I don't see him very often and I miss him.

The window had been left open and they stole his gf laptop and his X box 360 which is what he uses to watch tv and Netflix. He was pretty down about this. He said that they both had the feeling this morning that something bad was going to happen. He shrugged it off thinking it was just too much caffeine. The robber also trashed his home office looking for more things. Fortunately, no one was hurt and nothing of irreplaceable value was taken.

On the good side, he talked about moving to a different area of the country since the cost of living is so high there. Hopefully a lot closer. He hasn't lived in the same state as us for about 9 years.

Mama Bee - It is so hard when we see our kids hurting.  My heart would be aching for my kid in this situation.  I hope your ds moves closer.  He now has less to move.  Might be a good time.   Smiley

So sorry.

I have been the victim of crime three times. Each felt worse and it is so hard to replace the lost peace because it is your home. Maybe this will help him decide to move closer. I hope for the ebst for him and you.

That's awful.

Thinking of you.

I am so sorry this happened.  We were also the victim's of a break-in this weekend.  The car window was smashed and my son's x-box was taken from the backseat.  It is such a sense of violation.   love7

Just returning the favor, Justine.  You've written my posts more times than I can count.   coffee2
