Thank you Eliza and everyone who is praying. Last night I was thanking God that the on call doctor is not my regular doctor. The connection was a not the best and when he mumbled my name I wasn't sure he was asking for me. He had an accent from a foreign country. My regular doctor speaks in a way I can understand. As much stress as I feel from this whole thing, adding in indecipherable speech would be making it worse. Hmmmm. I can just see it now. "Did he say stop the chemo drugs for a week" or "Plug the drugs in your cheek"?

I told a friend of mine about it and she made me laugh. She shared that she is pretty sure she got pregnant with her second child because she couldn't understand what the Chinese doctor who was helping her that day was saying to her. He gave her antibiotics while she was on birth control pills. He was talking to her and may have said to use another form of birth control. If so, she didn't understand him. She just stood there smiling and nodding her head to be polite. Surprise! Surprise!

Good news. I don't need a transfusion this week due to a higher hemoglobin count. I believe the meds are working.

I like to stand in the doorway at my psychiatrist's office and blow on people as they walk by. Some folks don't like it, but I'm a fan.

That is an answer to my prayers.

Thank God for good news.
